Syllabi Gender Gap Project:
Teaching Ancient Women Philosophers Webinar
You are invited to join our Department's activity, the 1st installment of the "Syllabi Gender Gap Project" featuring Dr. Sara Protasi (speaker) and Dr. Marella Bolaños (reactor) for the topic "Teaching Ancient Women Philosophers" webinar. This project aims to contribute to the concern to address the lack of women philosophers/authors on course syllabi (Thompson, 2017) thereby (re)introducing women philosophers in the philosophical conversations towards achieving a more inclusive Philosophy syllabi. It will feature speakers who will talk about various topics in teaching women philosophers (strategies, pedagogies, theories, issues, interventions and the like), and the discussion of an inclusive syllabi.
