MA and PhD Proposal Writing Seminar
With the help of the Society of Thomasian Graduate Students of Philosophy, Dr. Bolaños will be sponsoring the MA and PhD Proposal Writing Seminar via Zoom. This free seminar, which will be attended by our philosophy graduate students, is one of several seminars on thesis/dissertation writing meant to supplement the TW1 and DW1 courses. This is also one of the first concrete attempts at proposing to the OGR a specific and simplified proposal template for philosophy. We are inviting everyone, whether you are teaching at the GS or in the undergraduate level, to join us this Friday because the information will be vital for all of us in the department who are teaching research methods, handling thesis courses, advising graduate or undergraduate students, and assessing theses and dissertations. So, while the audience of this seminar will be primarily graduate students, the conversation itself will benefit undergraduate research.
